It was a time in digital TV history when BBC decided to have a local digital channel broadcast only in the heart of Wales called BBC 2W (BBC Two Wales) showing programmes that were made and produced there.
And to celebrate, Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin brought back the classic series that was "Ivor the Engine" that was set entirely in Wales (but made in a pigsty somewhere in Kent) with some classic episodes and some new idents made by a different company altogether.
Around the same time, they brought back Ivor as well as Bagpuss and the Clangers on Nick Jr once again, but as part of their new classic kids TV block called "Noggin" (Nick Jr Classics) which also had plenty of FilmFair's works along with Rainbow and Button Moon.

Before the 1970s Ivor took along by the BBC, this was used to air on ITV, yep, the ITV. the original version of Ivor was originally aired in 1959 and it was made by Smallfilms limited. and i do notice that the designs of this Ivor series was different compared to the 1970s series, and sadly earlier on in 2020, almost all of the Ivor videos was removed on YouTube, and we want them back so we can re-watch it again!
