French Canadian broadcaster Unis TV will air Ronja, The Robber’s Daughter beginning this weekend. Produced by Polygon Pictures and Studio Ghibli, the 26-episode CG-animated adaptation of Astrid Lindgren’s novel will run Saturdays and Sundays at 9AM. This marks the show’s linear debut in Canada.
Ronja first ran in Japan between October 2014 and March 2015. The series is distributed internationally (outside of Scandinavia and Asia) by Britain’s Serious Lunch. The French-language version, produced in Belgium debuted began rolling out across Europe in late 2018.
