It's Alive! is a Canadian children's variety show that aired on YTV between 1993 and 1997. Coined "the least educational show on television", the show mainly consisted of comedy sketches, celebrity interviews, musical performances, game shows, and obstacle challenges. In its original six-episode first season, episodes were 1½ hours long, which also contained an episode of programs including Mighty Morphin Power RangersAre You Afraid of the Dark?, and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Starting in the second season, the show was cut back to one hour with the television programs dropped from the show. In the fourth and final season, the show was cut to a half-hour. Most of the sketches and the obstacle courses were shot at various locations in Toronto, while the musical performances, game show segments, and celebrity interviews were done in front of a live studio audience full of children at YTV's studios in Toronto. A unique aspect of the show was the use of product placements including 3DOCrispers, and Canada Games. The game show, Uh Oh!, which was inspired on a game show parody sketch during its second season, later became a spin-off show after It's Alive! ended in 1997.

This is the game show segment that was a part of nearly each episode of It's Alive!, with a rotating series of games hosted by Jeff Colt.

This week features Non-sense!, the game that tests your five senses, with the winner receiving a Panasonic Real 3DO game system.

And in case you're wondering, parts of this set were recycled on the spin-off show, Uh-Oh!

Episode: "The Mucous Shield" - My first time on television in the summer of 1995. This segment is a commercial within the show, in classic satire style, with Mike Beaver and Jennifer Baxter. Unfortunately the footage was slightly damaged due to a house fire, but I was able to salvage what you are about to see...or remember?!

    It's Alive! - Free Wally
A girl is on a special journey to set her pet goldfish free, facing many obstacles on the way. Reminds me of a movie I once saw...

Bonus easter eggs at the end...
