    Ce dessin animé est resté inédite dans les pays francophones mais qui a été diffusé sur les stations américains comme WPTZ-TV (NBC) et WMTW-TV(ABC). YTV avait aussi diffusé Rocky & Bullwinkle en reprise à leur débuts.

    Pendant l'entracte on voyait des segments où Bullwinkle fait un tour de magie.

    Rocky & Bullwinkle avait aussi un segment dédié aux contes de fées qui sont parodiées sous le titre "Fractured Fairy Tales" ou "Aesop and Son".

    10 anecdotes sur Rocky et Bullwinkle.

    Rocky and Bullwinkle was an iconic animated comedy series that had many spin-offs including The Bullwinkle Show and Rocky and His Friends. Drawing inspiration from local shops in San Francisco to featuring the most talented writers and producers in show biz, this series made an iconic splash. Produced by Jay Ward Productions, Rocky and Bullwinkle was the backbone of many cartoons to come. It inspired South Park and SpongeBob SquarePants, with its humor and animal animation. Many viewers have credited Rocky and Bullwinkle as a staple in the animated comedy, especially during the late ‘50s and early ‘60s.

    The show was created as a "variety show," featuring two main characters. A squirrel, "Rocky" and moose, "Bullwinkle." In addition to Rocky and Bullwinkle, antagonists Boris and Natasha also made frequent appearances throughout the episodes. The antagonists were Russian spies working for the dictator, Fearless Leader. The dictator had Nazi-like qualities and made for a dramatic storyline. The segments were inspired by classics such as Peabody, Sherman, and various fairy tales popular in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s.

    The series is best known for its high-quality writing and humor. The series was co-written by Allan Burns, a highly successful writer that wrote for countless iconic shows including Mary Tyler Moore and The Munsters. However, one of Allan's first projects was Rocky and Bullwinkle. After the series aired, Burns went on to write for other shows which also rose to the spotlight. In fact, Rocky and Bullwinkle performed so well, it received the top spot for daytime television. It was the perfect family show as it combined fun animation and cute characters for children as well as smart humor for adults to enjoy.
