Zack of All Trades was a series of PSAs ran on the ABC network in the 1980s between Saturday morning cartoons: it featured a motivational character (Zack) with his theme: "Don't pout, check it out, Zack's gonna show you what work's about" - this theme was actually sung by Luther Vandross. Drawn in a similar fashion to other ABC PSAs (such as the nutrition PSAs) known as "The Bod Squad," this series was aimed at motivating kids to pursue whatever career path they would like. In this episode, Zack helps a teen overcome "the future blob," a physical manifestation of the fear that kids might have about the uncertainty of finding a job. As usual, Zack starts by asking the kid what she wants to do, and gives helpful recommendations of what careers make the most sense.
