The current TVO (TV Ontario) was originally OECA (the Ontario Educational Communications Authority). And its early 1970s logo will put the fear of god into you. Really. The "Big V of Doom" is child's play compared to this one.
Which sadist dreamed up this combination of a computer-animated (Scanimate), multi-layered, eye-like symbol accompanied by weird echoey synthesizer tones for the station ID? Didn't they realize that most of their viewers were CHILDREN???
