Disney dans le trouble?

Is Disney worried about revenue heading into a recession? They suddenly dropped a LOT of unexpected discounts after bragging that there was seemingly no ceiling on their price gouging at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Then Disney CEO Bob Chapek got grilled about Disney's pivot to 'wokeness.'

Disney's public domain nightmares will continue. Not only is there a sequel to the "bootleg" Winnie the Pooh horror movie in the works, but a hellish reimagining of Peter Pan is also on the way. As more Disney (and Disney adjacent) properties become public domain, more studios will be free to capitalize off of the brand recognition Disney has created. But how far will it go?
